Job Description – Senior Accountant
Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Juba, South Sudan
Key Responsibilities
- Financial reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance
with accounting standards.
- Budget management:
Develop, monitor, and control budgets to ensure cost efficiency.
- Accounts supervision:
Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Compliance: Ensure
adherence to tax laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Audit support: Coordinate
with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
- Team leadership: Mentor
junior accountants and support finance team development.
- Strategic input: Provide
financial insights to management for decision-making and project planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5
years in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Skills: Strong knowledge
of IFRS, tax regulations, and construction industry accounting.
- Technical proficiency:
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.

ability.
