General Manager – Real Estate (Uganda)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our real estate operations in Uganda. The successful candidate will oversee strategic planning, business development, property management, and team leadership to drive growth and profitability in the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership: Develop and implement business strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Business development: Identify new opportunities in property sales, leasing, and investment.
  • Operational management: Oversee day-to-day operations including property management, client relations, and compliance.
  • Financial oversight: Prepare budgets, monitor performance, and ensure profitability.
  • Team leadership: Manage and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Build strong relationships with investors, government agencies, and clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in real estate management, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong financial acumen and proven track record in managing budgets and investments.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of Ugandan real estate market and regulatory environment.
