General Manager
Eng. Ayalew Tebeje is a Mining Engineer with over 30 years of experience in open pit and underground hard-rock gold, placer gold, tantalum open pit, and coal open-cast mining. He holds an MSc in Mining Engineering with strong expertise in mine planning and design and proficiency in Gemcom, Surpac, and Whittle. . He is recognized for leading large multidisciplinary teams and delivering safe, efficient, and reliable operations
Fitsum Melaku
Exploration Manager
Fitsum Melaku is a highly experienced Exploration Manager with over 15 years of experience in gold, base metals, platinum, and manganese exploration across Africa and South America. He holds an MSc in Mineral Deposits/Resource Geology and an MSc in Remote Sensing & GIS from AAU. Mr. Fitsum has played a key role in the discovery and advancement of major gold deposits, including Tulu Kapi and Dish Mountain in Ethiopia, as well as Busia gold project in Uganda and Mathews Ridge manganese deposit in Guyana.
Girmay Gebrehiwet
Exploration Unit Head
Girmay Gebrehiwet is an Exploration Geologist with over 16 years of experience in mineral exploration and resource evaluation. He holds a BSc in Applied Geology from Mekelle University and currently serves as Exploration Unit Head at GSG Mining PLC, providing technical and operational leadership.
Eng. Abraha Gebregzabher
Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
Abraha Gebregzabher is a certified Practicing Professional Engineer in Construction Management with BSc degree in Civil Engineering from Hawassa University and over 15 years of experience in road, airfield, and infrastructure construction in Ethiopia.
Eng. Fitsum Birhanu
Operation & Supply Chain Manager
Fitsum Birhanu Mitiku is a highly experienced Project Coordinator, Mining Operation & Supply Chain Manager with over 14 years of experience in mining projects and civil engineering related construction & infrastructure projects in Ethiopia & South Sudan. He is a certified Practicing Professional Engineer in Construction Management with MSc in Constructon Technology & Management from Addis Ababa Science & Technology University and BSC in Civil Engineering from Hawassa University.

Mekonnen Shiferaw
Finance and Admin Manager
Mekonnen has over 15 years of academic and professional experience in Accounting, Finance, Costing & Budgeting, Taxation, and Accounting Systems implementation. He has held finance roles across diverse sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, services, trading, and import/export. His experience spans multinational manufacturing companies within and outside Ethiopia, serving in finance leadership positions. Mekonnen has developed cross-functional expertise in HR, sales and marketing, supply chain, and operations.
Dima Placer Mine
Bandira Kebele, Dima Woreda, Agniwak Zone, Gambela Region, Ethiopia
Scope of Work:
- Small scale gold mining on approximately 9 hectares
- Bulk sampling and alluvial deposit assessment programs
- Deployment and operation of heavy equipment and ore processing plants
- o Washing and recovery of placer gold with full compliance to National Bank of Ethiopia regulations
Dima Placer Mine
Operational since establishment; second washing plant inaugurated December 2025
Achievements / Specialties Completed:
- Successful operation of first washing plant with average production of 2 kg gold per month
- Commissioned second washing plant in December 2025
- Cumulative gold production exceeding 15 kg to date
- Established strong operational practices in alluvial extraction and ore processing
