Position: IT Officer

Position Summary
The IT Officer will be responsible for managing and supporting the company's IT infrastructure, systems, networks, hardware, software, and users. The position will ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT services across offices, construction projects, and operational locations.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain computers, servers, networks, printers, and other IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to employees and project sites.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software.
- Manage network connectivity, Wi-Fi, internet, VPN, and user access.
- Provide support for ERP systems and other business applications.
- Maintain IT security, antivirus, access controls, and data protection measures.
- Manage data backup and recovery procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and equipment.
- Support CCTV, biometric, access control, and other technology systems where required.
- Coordinate with IT vendors, internet service providers, and external technical support companies.
- Provide IT support to construction sites and other operational locations.
- Prepare IT reports and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and business operations.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and applicable laws and regulations.
About You
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant IT certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL, or equivalent are an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant IT experience.
- Experience in IT infrastructure, networking, system administration, and technical support.
- Experience with ERP systems and business applications is an advantage.
- Experience supporting multiple offices, construction sites, or remote locations is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
