Position Summary

The Airport Terminal Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the construction and delivery of airport terminal projects. The role involves managing all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring that works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with engineering standards, aviation regulations, and client requirements. The Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure the successful execution of complex infrastructure projects.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1.      Project Planning and Management

•Develop overall project plans, schedules, budgets, and execution strategies.

• Define project scope and allocate resources effectively.

• Ensure smooth execution of all project phases from initiation to completion.

2.      Construction Supervision

• Oversee all site construction activities related to airport terminal works.

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Monitor project progress and ensure timely achievement of milestones.

3.      Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with clients, aviation authorities, consultants, and contractors.

• Ensure effective communication among all project stakeholders.

• Facilitate resolution of technical and contractual issues.

4.      Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with aviation standards, engineering codes, and regulations.

• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control reviews.

• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and contractual requirements.

5.      Contract and Cost Management

• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.

• Manage contract variations, claims, and contractual obligations.

• Ensure proper financial control and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

6.      Health and Safety Management

• Enforce strict health and safety standards across the project site.

• Ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations.

• Promote a strong safety culture among all project personnel.

7.      Leadership and Team Management

• Lead and supervise engineers, supervisors, and technical staff.

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management.

• Promote teamwork and high performance across the project team.

About You

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Master’s degree in Project Management or Engineering is an advantage.

• Professional certification (PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable.

Experience

• 15–20 years of relevant experience in construction and infrastructure projects.

• At least 5 years in a project management role.

• Experience in airport or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
