Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant with at least 8 years of professional experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cost accounting functions, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and analyze cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead.

Prepare cost reports and financial statements to support management decisions.

Monitor and control expenditures to ensure compliance with budgets.

Conduct variance analysis between actual costs and standard costs.

Collaborate with production and procurement teams to optimize cost efficiency.

Assist in preparing forecasts, budgets, and financial planning.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Provide recommendations for cost reduction and process improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA certification preferred).

Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in cost accounting or financial analysis.

Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
